Terms of service
Also referred to as our terms & conditions.
The basis on which we accept work, what we promise, and what falls outside our service.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to any administrative services provided by Meeting Registration Support Limited (“we”, “us”), company number 17426231, registered office 2nd Floor College House, 17 King Edwards Road, London, HA4 7AE, United Kingdom. Where we agree a separate written engagement with you, that engagement takes precedence over these terms if the two conflict.
2. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell
This website is informational. It contains no cart, checkout or purchase mechanism, and the information on it is not an offer capable of acceptance. A contract is formed only when we have agreed the scope of work and our fee with you in writing and you have confirmed acceptance.
3. What we provide
We provide professional administrative and document-preparation support: completing administrative and registration forms from information you supply, checking documentation for completeness and consistency, collating and formatting paperwork, administrative correspondence on your written instructions, and record-keeping. Our registered business activity is specialised office support (SIC 82190).
4. What we do not provide
For the avoidance of doubt, we supply only our own professional administrative, document preparation and specialised office support services. We do not act as an agent or intermediary for any other party; we do not collect, hold or transmit money belonging to anyone else; and we do not provide legal, immigration, financial, tax or other regulated advice. We accept no instruction that would require any of these activities.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and lawful information, and tell us promptly if anything changes.
- Have the authority to give us the information you send, including where it relates to colleagues or other individuals.
- Review and approve prepared documents before they are finalised.
- Meet any deadline we tell you applies to information we need from you.
We rely on the information you give us. We are not responsible for consequences arising from information that was inaccurate, incomplete or supplied late.
6. Our standard of service and what we cannot guarantee
We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill, within the timescales agreed. We cannot and do not guarantee the decision, response, acceptance or outcome of any recipient, authority or other third party, because those decisions are not ours to make.
7. Fees, invoicing and payment
Fees are quoted individually and agreed in writing before work starts. We invoice for our own professional service fees only. Payment methods, terms and currency are set out in Payments & Fees, and cancellation and refund arrangements in Refunds, Cancellations & Payment Disputes.
8. Changes to scope
If the work turns out to differ materially from what was agreed, we will tell you, explain the effect on the fee and timescale, and continue only once you confirm the change in writing.
9. Cancellation
Either party may cancel an engagement as described in our refunds and cancellations policy, which also sets out consumer cancellation rights.
10. Confidentiality and data protection
We keep client information confidential and use it only for the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law or is the express purpose of the work. Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this website belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for normal personal viewing. Documents we prepare specifically for you may be used by you for the purpose for which they were prepared.
12. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that:
- we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss;
- our total liability arising out of an engagement is limited to the fees paid by you for that engagement;
- if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.
13. Acceptable use of this website
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, submit automated or spam messages through our forms, or use the site unlawfully. We may block access where necessary to protect the site.
14. Third-party links
Where we link to another website, we are not responsible for its content or practices.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when a contract is formed. Material changes to an ongoing engagement will be agreed with you.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
