Stripe invoice payment FAQ

How invoice payment works when we have already agreed the scope and fee for your administrative work.

Please read first. This page explains our own invoicing process. It does not claim any endorsement, approval, partnership or verification by Stripe or any other payment provider, and it is not advice about their services. Any provider is referred to only as the mechanism through which an invoice we issue may be paid.

Can I buy a service directly on this website?

No. There is no cart, checkout or instant purchase anywhere on this site. Every engagement starts with an enquiry that we assess, followed by a written agreement of scope and fees by email or telephone. Only then may an invoice be issued.

What exactly am I paying for?

Our own professional administrative service fees — the time and expertise our team spends preparing documents, completing and checking registration forms, coordinating information and maintaining records for you. We never invoice for anything supplied by a third party, and we never collect money on anyone else's behalf.

How will I receive the invoice?

By email, to the address you gave us, after the scope and fee have been agreed. The invoice states our registered company name and number, the work covered, the amount, any tax applied, the due date and the payment methods available.

How does an invoice payment link work?

Where a card payment option is offered, the invoice includes a link to a payment page hosted by our invoicing provider. You enter your card details on that provider's secure page — not on this website. We never see or store your full card number, and we never ask for card details by email or over the telephone.

If you would rather not use a card, you can pay by bank transfer using the details on the invoice.

Is a payment link safe to use?

Before paying anything, check that the invoice shows our registered company name, Meeting Registration Support Limited, and company number 17426231, and that the amount matches the fee you agreed in writing. If anything looks different, do not pay — contact us first using the details on our contact page and we will confirm whether the invoice genuinely came from us.

Do you keep my card details on file?

No. Card data is handled entirely by the payment provider's hosted page. We hold only the record of the payment against your invoice.

When is payment due?

The due date is stated on each invoice. Depending on what we agreed, an invoice may be issued before work starts, on completion, or in stages. Our standard terms are payment within 14 days of the invoice date unless we agree a different date in writing.

What if I think an invoice is wrong?

Tell us before paying. Email the invoice number and what appears incorrect, and we will review it, explain the charge, and correct and reissue the invoice if we agree it is wrong. Our full process is in Refunds, Cancellations & Payment Disputes.

Can I get a refund after paying?

Yes, in the circumstances set out in our refunds and cancellations policy — for example if we have not yet started the work, if we cancel, or if you were charged more than the agreed fee. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Do I need to raise a dispute with my bank or card issuer?

You always retain your rights to do so. We would simply ask you to contact us first: most questions are resolved quickly and directly, and we would rather correct a genuine error ourselves than have you wait for a dispute process.

Do you receive payments for other people or organisations?

No. We invoice only for our own professional administrative service fees. We do not act as an agent or intermediary for anyone else, and we never handle money belonging to any other party.

Template notice. This FAQ is a customer-friendly template prepared for the company's own use.
